Mother's Day Tea

It's been a while since I've had time to blog. I'll try to visit with you as often as I can and join your tea parties, they are so much fun!

I'm sneaking in a blog post at midnight (couldn't sleep). I wanted to share it with you all so badly. We had a Mother's Day Tea at my church and it turned out lovely! Here are some pictures.

The table above was mine. I hadn't planned on hostessing, but they needed a couple more people...and I love doing it!

The food was scrumpteous...
That might sound like bragging since I made the scones, 112 of them!

They shared the plate with banana muffins.

I must have a sweet tooth because I only got pictures of the first and last courses...the sweet ones!

My Mother came (on the left, me on the right) and I think she had a good time, I know I did!

I hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day!

Blessings,

I had a delicious lunch with my husband and children (son, daughter, in-laws, grandsons and grandaughter). Some day I will send you a picture.

  6. I loved the idea of having the Tea on Mother's Day. I will have to talk to our pastor and ask him if that would be possible next year.

    Thanks for a terrific idea!
