Kept Busy By Sugarbugs...

Sadly I am not sharing a Christmas post today. All my decorations are still boxed up and waiting in the attic right where I put them last January. I'm anxious to get started decorating for Christmas...and perhaps I will right after I post this.

I've been busy with grandchildren the last few days but now the little sugarbugs have gone home. They are so much fun while they are here, but while they are, my "to do" list has only one word on it - them! So, after a few deep breaths...and maybe a nap, I will brave the trip up the attic stairs and hunt for boxes marked "Christmas."

In the mean time, I am sharing with you a another cup given to me by the same dear friend that gave me the one I shared last week. I know what you are thinking, "What a good friend!" And you are right. Not just because she gives me gifts like tea cups, but because she is a true friend who also gives of herself in many ways. She is a very wise lady and I am hoping to learn from her how I can be wise too. I consider her a friend and a mentor. A Heart Friend.

"A friend loves at all times."
Proverbs 17:17

Once again, my camera didn't like the indoor lighting. It behaves a lot like me, I'd much rather be outside in the sunshine...but today it was too cold!

"Friendship is a treasure.
If you possess even one nugget
of the real thing, you are rich." ~ Emilie Barnes

I like the pastel colors and the speckles of gold around the rim, base and handle.

That is all I have to share with you this week. I'm looking forward to visiting again when my blog is in the Christmas spirit. Until then, keep Christmas in your heart, where it should always be...because that's where Jesus is...and He is Christmas.

Have a wonderful week!

  9. I bet we could compare notes, grandchildren, procrastination, Christmas box, attic and friendship. Your tea cup is lovely. My camera is foolish when it comes to indoor light as well however the pictures look much better taken without a flash. Have a wonderful week

  14. Hello Charlotte,
children are always a fun to have. Their mind is so clear and free of all harm.
You have a lovely friend. The tea cup is wonderful and surely antique. The tender colors and the sweet decoration and shape makes it to a real heritage. How nice to have true friends who share not only beautiful things but also wise words.
    Best greetings, Johanna
